About 4Dvets
A Vision for Canine Mobility
At 4Dvets, we believe in a future where every dog can move freely without pain or limitations. Our mission is to revolutionise mobility diagnostics by equipping veterinarians and researchers with the tools to detect and address movement disorders at an early stage.
Our story begins with Dr. med. vet. Dipl. Patrick Blättler Monnier, a veterinarian and researcher specialising in functional orthopaedics and kinematics. Years of research led him to identify a critical gap in veterinary medicine:
> Many treatments focus on symptom relief rather than addressing the root cause of mobility issues
> Subtle movement abnormalities often go unnoticed until they develop into chronic conditions
> There was no objective, data-driven method to analyse and monitor mobility changes at an early stage
To fill this gap, Dr. med. vet. Dipl. Patrick Blättler Monnier developed a science-based, preventative approach – a method that allows veterinarians to identify mobility problems before they lead to long-term limitations or pain.

The Minds Behind 4Dvets and LupoGait
The 4Dvets team combines expertise from the fields of veterinary medicine, biomechanics and technology development. With a common goal in mind to improve the mobility of dogs our team works on the further development of LupoGait in an interdisciplinary manner. Our experience and backgrounds complement each other perfectly: from research to practice, we do everything we can to develop innovative solutions for gait analysis in dogs. We attach great importance to scientific research, practical relevance and the exchange of ideas with veterinary experts.
