For dog owners
Is your dog not walking quite right?
Small changes in gait are hard to see with the naked eye. Gait analysis makes them measurable, painlessly and without anaesthesia.

LupoGait works with small, wireless motion sensors that are attached to the LupoMove® Holder. Depending on the configuration, either 6 or 12 sensors are used. With 12 sensors, individual joints can be assessed in even more detail.

LupoGait Puppy: spot signs of hip problems early, while there is still time to act
Officially, your dog’s hips are X-rayed at twelve months at the earliest, when the skeleton is largely fully grown. With LupoGait Puppy, you can already see at puppy age whether a closer look is worthwhile. The first measurement is possible from week 8 of life, and the result is reliable from the fourth measurement onwards.
- Five to six short measurements are recommended up to week 16 or 17 of life
- No anaesthesia, no X-rays, 7 to 10 minutes per measurement
- Report with a hip value for the left and right side. The hip value indicates whether a closer look is advisable
What you can do
You can’t change the genes. But you can change a lot else.
In most cases, less than half of the variation in hip dysplasia is down to genetics. Three things are in your hands:
