How does a measurement work?

Schritt 1

Brief history

You describe what you have noticed about your dog.

Schritt 2

Holder and measurement

Your dog is fitted with the LupoMove® Holder and moves along a defined track. The measurement itself usually takes only a few minutes.

Schritt 3

Discussion

After a short analysis, you discuss the result directly on site.

Frequently asked questions about measurement locations

Do I need a referral from my vet?

That depends on the location. Veterinary practices with LupoGait often do not require a separate referral; for specialised test centres, it is best to check briefly in advance.

What should I bring to the appointment?

Usually your dog is all you need, plus any previous findings or X-rays if available, so the results can be interpreted better. Please remember to bring a collar and lead, not a harness.

How long does an appointment take?

Allow around 20 to 30 minutes for preparation, measurement and a short discussion of the results. The exact procedure may vary depending on the location.

What if it rains or snows?

Rain or snow are no problem for the LupoGait systems; the technology copes with them easily. The LupoMove® Holder is simply dried afterwards.

What can a gait analysis show?

You receive an analysis report with your dog’s key movement data, including stance phase, stride length and symmetry between the left and right sides of the body. This allows abnormalities to be assessed objectively and compared directly at future follow-up checks.

Would you like to become a measurement location yourself?

With LupoGait, you offer gait analysis in your practice and appear in this location finder.
